in this role, your main work is to talk to business owners on calls and tell them about the company’s accounting services. you will call new clients, explain services like bookkeeping, gst filing, and tax compliance, and try to convert them into customers.
you will also need to understand what the client needs, give them the right solution, and fix a meeting or follow-up if required. along with that, you have to keep records of your calls, update client details in the system, and regularly follow up with interested people.
this job is more about communication and consistency. you don’t need deep accounting knowledge, but you should understand basic terms so you can explain them simply. your goal is to generate leads, talk to them , schedule meeting , and meet your daily and monthly targets.
