Ayursesha, a wellness and Ayurvedic brand under Saaiesh Group, is focused on delivering high-quality products through strong D2C and marketplace-led e-commerce channels. As we scale our online sales footprint, we are looking for a Sales and Marketplace-focused Team Lead to drive growth, performance, and execution.
The Team Lead – Sales & Marketplace will be responsible for driving online sales performance across D2C platforms and marketplaces while leading a small operations and sales support team. This role blends revenue ownership, marketplace management, and team leadership.
Sales & Revenue Growth
Own and drive sales targets across marketplaces and D2C platforms
Plan and execute marketplace sales strategies, promotions, and campaigns
Analyze sales trends, conversion rates, and revenue performance
Work closely with marketing teams on ads, offers, and growth initiatives
Marketplace & D2C Operations
Manage end-to-end marketplace operations (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.) and/or brand website
Ensure accuracy of product listings, pricing, offers, and inventory
Handle order lifecycle, returns, cancellations, and customer escalations
Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for smooth fulfillment
Team Leadership & Process Management
Lead, train, and monitor a team handling sales and e-commerce operations
Set daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals for the team
Track KPIs, dashboards, and prepare MIS and performance reports
Identify gaps and improve processes to enhance efficiency and sales output
3–5 years of experience in E-commerce Sales, D2C, or Marketplace Operations
Hands-on experience in any D2C or marketplace process
Proven exposure to sales targets, revenue tracking, and performance metrics
Experience managing marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, etc.
Prior experience in leading or mentoring team members
Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills
Experience in FMCG, Wellness, Ayurveda, or Consumer Brands
Knowledge of marketplace ads, seller dashboards, and campaign tools
Familiarity with Shopify, WooCommerce, or other D2C platforms
Ability to scale processes in a fast-growth environment
