Key Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to customers with overdue EMIs and follow RBI-compliant collection practices.
Remind customers about outstanding dues, EMI dates, penalties, and consequences of non-payment.
Convince and negotiate with customers to make timely payments to regularize their accounts.
Provide correct payment options such as UPI links, online banking, or cash collection through field agents.
Identify high-risk and non-contactable customers and escalate cases to the field collections team.
Maintain detailed records of calls, follow-ups, PTPs (Promise to Pay), and payment commitments.
Resolve customer queries regarding loan statements, bounce charges, and repayment schedules.
Coordinate with the credit and operations team for disputes, settlement requests, and waivers.
Achieve daily/weekly/monthly collection targets as assigned by the NBFC.
Ensure all interactions are recorded in CRM/collection software with accuracy.
Follow NBFC and RBI guidelines related to anti-harassment, call timings, and customer communication standards.
Skills & Competencies
Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and/or regional languages.
Good negotiation and persuasion skills.
Understanding of NBFC loan products and EMI structures.
Knowledge of basic finance terms (DPD, PTP, NPA, overdue buckets).
Computer skills (MS Office, CRM tools, collection apps).
Patience, persistence, and target-oriented approach.
Ability to handle difficult or irate customers professionally.
Qualifications
Education: 12th Pass / Graduate (preferred).
Experience:
03 years in NBFC/BFSI collections, tele-calling, recovery, or BPO.
Experience in soft collections or early bucket collections is an added advantage.
Freshers with good communication skills can also apply
