The Loan Officer is responsible for originating loan applications by evaluating applicants’ financial information and matching them with suitable loan products. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a firm understanding of lending regulations and procedures. Meet with clients to assess loan needs and financial status. Collect and verify financial documents. Evaluate and recommend loan products. Explain loan terms, rates, and repayment options. Submit loan applications for underwriting. Maintain relationships with clients and referral partners.
