Core Responsibilities
Team Management & Leadership: Hire, train, onboard, and mentor telesales representatives and supervisors. [1, 2, 3]
Target & KPI Tracking: Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales quotas, call volume goals, and conversion metrics. [1, 2, 3]
Strategy & Scripting: Develop and refine telesales scripts, pitch strategies, campaign timing, and lead-nurturing workflows. [1, 2, 3]
Performance Monitoring: Listen to live or recorded calls, conduct performance reviews, and provide real-time coaching to improve conversion rates. [1, 2, 3, 4]
CRM & Data Analysis: Track pipeline health, manage CRM integration (such as Salesforce), and analyze sales metrics to spot market trends. [1, 2, 3]
Escalation & Conflict Resolution: Handle complex customer complaints, escalations, or difficult objections that agents cannot resolve.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and account management teams to align lead generation with business growth.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Typically 3 to 5+ years of experience in telesales or phone-based sales, with 1 to 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (though proven sales performance is often prioritized).
Skills: Strong leadership, coaching, communication, negotiation, and time-management abilities.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), dialer systems, and data analytics tools like MS Excel or Google Sheets
