A Recovery Telecaller contacts customers or businesses over the phone to collect overdue payments, resolve billing disputes, and secure realistic repayment commitments for loans, EMIs, or credit accounts.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Making Outbound Calls: Contact prospective or existing clients using lists and scripts to pitch services, promote sales, or conduct market research.
Handling Inbound Calls: Answer incoming customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide details about billing or product usage
Experience: 1 to 5+ years in debt recovery, microfinance, banking, or NBFC collections.
Certifications: Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF) Debt Recovery Agent (DRA) certification is frequently preferred or required in India.
Skills: Strong negotiation, active listening, local language fluency, and de-escalation skills.
Technical Knowledge: Basic proficiency in MS Excel, MIS reporting tools, and loan management software.
Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively for field recovery and bank/client coordination
