Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our growing IT sales team. The BDE will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets within the IT services and solutions sector. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, strong communication skills, and a strategic mindset to effectively position our offerings and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research & Lead Generation:
Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential clients, emerging industry trends, and competitive landscapes within the IT sector.
Proactively generate new leads through various channels including cold calling, email outreach, networking events, social media, and referrals.
Identify and qualify leads to assess their business needs and alignment with our services.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with prospective and existing clients.
Understand client business challenges and effectively articulate how our IT solutions/services can address their specific needs.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and demonstrations that showcase the value of our offerings.
Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial contact and negotiation to deal closure.
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
Sales Strategy & Performance:
Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve individual and team sales targets and revenue objectives.
Collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, and technical teams to align strategies and optimize client outreach.
Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics using CRM software (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Salesforce, HubSpot).
Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement of sales processes and strategies.
Industry Knowledge & Collaboration:
Stay updated on the latest IT industry trends, technologies, and competitive offerings.
Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and workshops to expand network and market presence.
Provide feedback to product and service development teams based on market demands and client needs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Minimum 6 months-1 year of proven experience in IT sales, business development, or a similar client-facing role within the technology sector.
Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of IT services and solutions (software development, Web Development, Mobile App development, Digital Marketing services, etc.).
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.
