International Sales Executive

An International Sales Executive drives overseas sales by identifying new market opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with international clients, and managing the end-to-end sales process, including negotiations and contract closing. This role requires adaptability to different cultures and market dynamics, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to ensure compliance with global trade regulations. Key responsibilities include developing sales strategies, achieving targets, collaborating with other departments, and preparing sales reports. 

Responsibilities

• Market Development:

  Identify and research new international sales opportunities, and develop and implement sales strategies to expand market presence. 

• Client Management:

  Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential international clients, distributors, and partners. 

• Sales Execution:

  Manage the full sales cycle, from lead follow-up and presenting proposals to closing contracts and coordinating documentation and logistics. 

• Compliance:

  Ensure all sales activities and transactions comply with international trade regulations and local laws. 

• Reporting and Analysis:

  Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to senior management. 

• Travel and Representation:

  Travel internationally to meet clients, attend trade shows, and represent the company. 

• Collaboration:

  Work with cross-functional teams like marketing and logistics to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and smooth delivery processes. 

Qualifications and skills

• Education:

  A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, international relations, or a related field is typically required. 

• Experience:

  Proven experience in sales is crucial, with a strong emphasis on international markets and business practices. 

• Communication:

  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and present effectively across different cultures. 

• Adaptability:

  Ability to understand and adapt to different cultural contexts and market dynamics. 

• Negotiation:

  Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
