Position: Inside Sales Team Leader
Position Overview
The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for leading, coaching, and developing an inside sales team to
achieve revenue targets, grow customer accounts, and support overall business objectives. This role
involves managing day-to-day sales operations, developing strategies to increase conversion, monitoring
performance metrics, and ensuring exceptional customer engagement throughout the sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Management
Train and mentor inside sales representatives.
Set daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets.
Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and team meetings.
Foster a high-energy, goal-oriented, and customer-focused team culture.
2. Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement inside sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion.
Create and optimize sales scripts, workflows, and outreach methods.
Coordinate with marketing to align lead generation and nurturing activities.
3. Pipeline & Performance Management
Monitor team KPIs such as lead conversion rate, call volume, pipeline health, and revenue performance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3–7+ years of experience in inside sales, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
Preferred Skills
Experience in the relevant industry will be preferred
Knowledge of sales enablement platforms, automation tools, or lead-scoring systems.
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
