Placement Manager – NetTech India

About the Role

NetTech India is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Placement Manager to manage student placements and build strong relationships with companies and recruiters. The ideal candidate should have a strong network of HRs/recruiters and experience in student placements, recruitment, or the education/IT training industry.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end placement activities for students completing IT and professional training programs.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with HR Managers, Recruiters, Talent Acquisition teams, and corporate clients.

Identify new companies and generate regular job opportunities for trained students.

Understand employer requirements and coordinate candidate shortlisting accordingly.

Organize campus placements, recruitment drives, interviews, job fairs, and walk-in drives.

Coordinate with students and trainers to ensure candidates are properly prepared for interviews.

Conduct or coordinate mock interviews, resume guidance, GD/PI preparation, and career counselling.

Follow up with companies for interview feedback, offer letters, joining status, and placement confirmation.

Maintain accurate records of student applications, interviews, selections, offers, and joining status.

Achieve monthly and quarterly placement targets.

Research current IT hiring trends and identify relevant opportunities for freshers and experienced candidates.

Build long-term corporate partnerships and negotiate placement requirements.

Coordinate with the internal training and counselling teams to improve student employability.

Prepare regular placement MIS and performance reports for management.

Track placed candidates after joining and maintain good relationships with recruiters.

Candidate Requirements

Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.

2–6 years of experience in placement, recruitment, corporate relations, staffing, or EdTech/training institutes.

Prior experience in student/fresher placements will be highly preferred.

Strong network of corporate HRs and IT recruiters.

Excellent communication, negotiation, follow-up, and relationship-management skills.

Good knowledge of IT hiring and fresher recruitment.

Comfortable using MS Excel, Google Sheets, email, LinkedIn, and recruitment/CRM platforms.

Strong target-oriented and result-driven approach.

Ability to independently handle multiple placement activities.
