Key Responsibilities:
1. Payment & Recovery Management
Monitor dealer and distributor outstanding balances regularly.
Follow up with customers for pending payments through calls, visits, and official correspondence.
Coordinate with the sales team to ensure recovery targets are met monthly.
Maintain proper documentation for receipts, payment commitments, and ledger confirmation.
2. Credit Control
Evaluate and monitor credit limits for each customer.
Identify potential credit risks and recommend action plans to management.
Ensure strict adherence to company credit policies.
3. MIS & Reporting
Prepare daily / weekly / monthly recovery reports for management.
Highlight overdue accounts and propose recovery strategies.
Maintain updated customer ledger statements in coordination with the accounts department.
4. Coordination
Work closely with sales, accounts, and logistics teams to resolve billing or delivery disputes delaying payments.
Coordinate with regional offices or depots for reconciliation of payments and outstanding balances.
5. Legal & Escalation Support
Coordinate with legal department for initiating recovery notices or arbitration in case of chronic defaulters.
Maintain records of recovery actions taken.
6. Relationship Management
Maintain a professional relationship with dealers/distributors to ensure smooth communication.
Educate customers on payment terms and credit discipline.
