Role Summary (Simple Explanation):
This role is mainly about talking to customers over the phone to promote a company’s product or service. You’ll either call people (outbound) or answer incoming calls (inbound), understand their needs, and try to convert them into customers.
Think of it as a mix of sales + customer service + follow-ups.
What You Will Do Daily:
📞 Calling & Communication
Make 50–150 calls per day (depends on company)
Talk to new leads and explain the product/service
Answer customer questions clearly and confidently
Convince interested customers to take the next step (buy, book, visit, etc.)
🎯 Sales & Lead Conversion
Turn interested people into paying customers
Understand customer needs and suggest the right solution
Handle objections like:
“Too expensive”
“Not interested”
“Call later”
Try to meet or exceed daily/weekly targets
🔁 Follow-ups
Call back customers who showed interest earlier
Remind them, build trust, and push toward conversion
Keep track of “hot”, “warm”, and “cold” leads
🧾 Data & Reporting
Update customer details in Excel or CRM
Record call outcomes (interested / not interested / follow-up)
Share daily reports with manager
🤝 Coordination
Work with field sales team or managers
Pass high-quality leads for closing deals

Communication: Speak clearly, politely, and confidently
Persuasion: Ability to convince someone without being pushy
Patience: Many people will reject—need to stay calm
Listening: Understand what the customer actually wants
