Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth by identifying new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and expanding our customer base. This role requires a mix of sales acumen, technical understanding, and strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pitch to potential B2B/B2C clients (e.g., Architects, Interior Designers, Real estate developers, homeowners, smart home enthusiasts, hotels).
Create tailored presentations showcasing the company’s automation solutions (lighting, HVAC, security, AV, etc.).
Close high-value deals and manage key accounts.
Build strategic alliances with real estate developers, builders, architects, interior designers, and tech partners.
Secure distribution or integration deals (e.g., with smart thermostat brands, voice assistant platforms, or security systems).
Marketing Strategy Support
Collaborate with marketing to run lead generation campaigns, webinars, demos, and trade shows.
Provide market feedback to help shape messaging, product positioning, and pricing.
Product & Tech Understanding
Maintain a solid understanding of your home automation product suite.
Monthly/quarterly sales revenue growth
Client conversion rate (from lead to closed deal)
