About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executive to promote and sell Insurance and Mutual Fund products through telesales. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, understanding customer financial requirements, explaining product benefits, and converting prospects into customers while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Contact potential customers through outbound calls and follow-ups.
Explain and promote Insurance and Mutual Fund products to prospective clients.
Understand customer financial goals and recommend suitable products.
Generate sales opportunities and convert leads into business.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships for repeat business and referrals.
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in CRM/software.
Follow up with interested prospects and ensure timely closure of sales.
Stay updated on company products, industry trends, and regulatory guidelines.
Coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding and documentation processes.
Required Skills
Excellent communication and convincing skills.
Strong negotiation and objection-handling abilities.
Customer-focused approach with a positive attitude.
Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
Basic computer knowledge and CRM handling skills.
Good understanding of financial products will be an added advantage.
Qualification
Graduate in any discipline.
Minimum 6 months to 3 years of experience in Telesales, Insurance Sales, Financial Product Sales, Banking Sales, or Mutual Fund Sales.
Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.
Preferred Experience
Experience in selling Life Insurance, Health Insurance, General Insurance, Mutual Funds, SIPs, or other financial products.
Experience in outbound sales and lead conversion.
