Job Description

A BPO Collections Assistant Manager typically oversees a team of collection specialists, ensuring efficient and effective debt recovery processes while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include managing daily operations, monitoring performance, providing coaching and support to team members, and implementing strategies to improve collection rates and minimize bad debt. They also play a crucial role in developing and implementing operational strategies to drive growth and improve customer satisfaction. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and Coaching:

    Overseeing a team of collection specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to improve their effectiveness. 

  • Performance Management:

    Monitoring team performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance collection rates. 

  • Process Improvement:

    Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the collection process. 

  • Client Relationship Management:

    Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure timely payments and address any payment-related issues. 

  • Compliance:

    Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures related to debt collection and regulatory requirements. 

  • Data Analysis:

    Analyzing collection data to identify trends, track performance, and make data-driven decisions. 

  • Reporting:

    Preparing regular reports on team performance, collection progress, and other relevant metrics. 

  • Training and Development:

    Identifying training needs for team members and providing support and guidance to enhance their skills and knowledge.
