Job Description (JD)

Seedling Public School, Jawahar Nagar, is looking for a motivated and student-focused School Admission Counsellor to manage admission enquiries and support the school’s enrollment activities. The role involves counselling parents and students, coordinating admission processes, and assisting with promotional initiatives to strengthen admissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle admission enquiries through walk-ins, phone calls, emails, and online platforms

• Counsel parents and students about the school curriculum, facilities, policies, and admission procedures

• Maintain and update admission records, forms, and student databases accurately

• Coordinate with academic and administrative teams for school visits, assessments, interviews, and orientations

• Conduct regular follow-ups with interested parents to ensure smooth and timely admissions

• Assist in admission drives, open houses, and school promotional events

• Coordinate with the marketing team to create short promotional videos and digital content for admissions

• Ensure a positive and professional admission experience for parents and students

• Prepare and submit regular admission reports to the Head of Admissions

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate in any discipline (Education / Psychology / Management preferred)

• 1–3 years of experience in school admissions, education counselling, or a similar role

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (English & Hindi required)

• Good organizational and record-keeping abilities

• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email communication, CRM tools)

• Comfortable with follow-ups, counselling, and achieving admission targets

• Creative mindset and willingness to support marketing initiatives
