Academic Counsellor

Job Summary

The Academic Counselor at UNEXT is responsible for guiding prospective students about online degree and certification programs, counseling them based on career goals, and converting inquiries into enrollments.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students on UNEXT’s online UG/PG programs (MBA, BBA, MCA, etc.)

• Handle inbound and outbound calls from interested students

• Understand student needs and recommend suitable programs

• Explain course details, fees, eligibility, and admission process

• Follow up with leads and ensure conversions

• Maintain accurate student data in CRM

• Achieve daily/weekly/monthly enrollment targets

• Provide post-enrollment support till admission confirmation

Required Skills

• Excellent communication skills (Hindi & English)

• Strong counseling and convincing skills

• Ability to build trust with students and parents

• Sales-oriented mindset with ethical counseling

• Basic computer knowledge (CRM, MS Excel)

• Ability to work under targets and pressure

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum qualification: Graduate (any stream)

• Freshers are welcome

• Experience in EdTech / Sales / Telecalling is a plus
