About the Role
Indus Solar Power Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tender Executive to manage the complete tendering process for solar EPC projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying tender opportunities, preparing techno-commercial bids, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring timely submission of bids to government and private organisations.
Key Responsibilities
Search and identify relevant solar tenders from government and private portals.
Review tender documents, eligibility criteria, technical specifications, and commercial terms.
Prepare and submit technical and commercial bids within the stipulated deadlines.
Coordinate with the design, estimation, procurement, finance, and sales teams to compile tender documents.
Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, compliance statements, and supporting documentation.
Upload and submit bids on e-tendering portals such as GeM, CPP Portal, state electricity boards, and other procurement portals.
Track tender status, clarifications, corrigenda, and bid results.
Maintain records of submitted tenders, EMDs, performance bank guarantees, and contract documents.
Liaise with clients and government departments for tender-related queries and documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies and tender requirements.
Prepare MIS reports on tender activities and success rates.
Eligibility
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical), Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
Diploma holders with relevant experience may also apply.
Experience: 1–4 years of experience in tendering, bidding, or proposal management, preferably in the solar, electrical, EPC, or infrastructure industry.
Required Skills
Knowledge of government and private tendering procedures.
Experience with e-tendering portals such as GeM, CPP Portal, and state procurement portals.
Good understanding of solar EPC projects, BOQs, and technical documentation.
Strong analytical, organisational, and documentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
Preferred Candidates
Experience in the solar EPC or renewable energy sector.
Familiarity with government procurement processes and bid documentation.
Knowledge of contractual terms, EMDs, bank guarantees, and tender compliance.
