Responsibilities:
1. Diagnosis and Repair: Perform thorough diagnostic procedures using advanced tools
and equipment to identify issues across mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
such as engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation,
and Air Conditioning).
2. Maintenance Services: Conduct routine maintenance services including oil changes,
tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements to ensure vehicles are operating at
peak efficiency and safety standards.
3. Advanced Repairs: Undertake complex repairs and component replacements involving
engine overhauls, transmission rebuilds, differential repairs, and electronic module
reprogramming, adhering to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
4. Electrical and Electronic Systems: Troubleshoot and repair intricate electrical and
electronic systems including wiring harnesses, sensors, actuators, onboard computers,
and communication networks like CAN (Controller Area Network).
5. Technical Documentation: Accurately document all diagnostic findings, repair
procedures, parts usage, and labor times in service records or computerized systems to
maintain comprehensive vehicle histories and ensure regulatory compliance.
6. Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to explain diagnosis
results, repair recommendations, and associated costs, providing exceptional service
and fostering trust and satisfaction.
7. Training and Mentorship: Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies,
diagnostic techniques, and repair procedures through continuous learning and training
sessions, and mentor junior technicians to enhance overall team competency.
8. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality control checks on completed repairs to
verify workmanship, functionality, and safety compliance, ensuring vehicles meet or
exceed performance expectations and regulatory standards.
9. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all repairs, services, and parts used, as
well as diagnostic findings and recommendations.
10. Calibration: Calibrate and fine-tune machinery and equipment to ensure they meet
manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.
11. Parts Replacement: Order and replace defective parts with precision and efficiency,
ensuring proper installation and functionality.
Requirement:
Educational Background (Mandatory): 2 years of full time I.T.I. or 3 years of full time
Diploma or 4 years of Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Automobile
Engineering, from recognized institute.
Minimum experience: At least 10-15 years of relevant work experience in authorized
luxury dealerships such as BMW, Volvo, Mercedes , Audi , Porsche , Rolls – Royce ,
maserati or equivalent brands.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of automotive systems, diagnostic tools, and
repair techniques. Proficiency in using computerized diagnostic equipment and
software.
Problem-Solving Ability: Analytical mindset to diagnose complex technical issues and
propose effective solutions.
Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and work under
pressure to meet service deadlines.
