Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV cameras, biometric access control systems, and related security equipment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the field and be comfortable working independently and on client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and test CCTV surveillance systems, DVR/NVRs, IP cameras.

• Install and configure biometric attendance systems (fingerprint, facial recognition, RFID).

• Conduct system troubleshooting and repair for hardware and software issues.

• Perform site surveys and prepare basic reports on installation requirements.

• Handle cabling (CAT6, power), crimping, and connector termination.

• Configure network settings such as IP addresses, port forwarding, and remote viewing.

• Maintain detailed records of installations and service calls.

• Provide training or demonstrations to clients as needed.

• Maintain tools and equipment in working condition.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of electrical and network cabling.

• Understanding of IP addressing and router configurations.

• Ability to read technical drawings and installation manuals.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Physically fit to work on ladders, rooftops, or at heights.

• Two-wheeler with valid driving license preferred.
