Position: Golf Cart Assembly Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Golf Cart Assembly Technician to join our production team at SkyyRider Electric Pvt Ltd. The candidate will be responsible for assembling electric golf carts, performing quality checks, troubleshooting assembly issues, and ensuring that the final product meets company and customer standards.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Assembly Operations:
Assemble golf carts by following standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and assembly drawings.
Install mechanical, electrical, and electronic components such as motors, batteries, controllers, wiring harnesses, suspension systems, wheels, and body parts.
Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments efficiently.
2. Quality Control:
Inspect assembled units to ensure proper functioning and adherence to quality standards.
Identify, troubleshoot, and rectify any assembly or quality issues during the production process.
Report any deviations or defects to the supervisor or quality department promptly.
3. Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working on the assembly line.
Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and improve efficiency.
4. Process Improvement:
Suggest improvements in assembly processes for better efficiency, safety, and product quality.
Participate in continuous improvement programs and team meetings.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of assembly work, inspections, and any rework performed.
Provide daily reports to the supervisor on production targets, issues, and progress.
6. Team Collaboration:
Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and quality teams for smooth workflow.
Support training of new assembly technicians as required.
7. Other Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance of tools and equipment.
Follow company policies, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Automobile Engineering, or related fields.
0-3 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing operations (EV or automotive sector preferred).
Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and wiring diagrams.
Basic knowledge of electric vehicle systems (motors, batteries, controllers) is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Good physical stamina and ability to work in a standing position for long hours.
