The company provides skilled technical resources for industrial projects, including the petrochemical, oil & gas, infrastructure, and other process industries.
We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation Technician to support instrumentation installation, maintenance, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities at refinery, petrochemical, hydrocarbon, or fertilizer plant projects.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with industrial instrumentation and be familiar with working in process plant environments.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, test, calibrate, and troubleshoot industrial instrumentation equipment.
Work on pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments/transmitters.
Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of control valves, actuators, switches, gauges, and field instruments.
Carry out preventive and corrective instrumentation maintenance.
Perform instrument calibration using appropriate calibration equipment.
Conduct loop checking, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
Read and understand P&IDs, loop diagrams, instrument index, hook-up drawings, and instrument datasheets.
Troubleshoot instrument and control system-related issues and take corrective action.
Inspect instrument tubing, impulse lines, cable connections, mounting, and installation.
Participate in shutdown, turnaround, maintenance, and commissioning activities.
Coordinate with Operations, Electrical, Mechanical, and other maintenance teams.
Follow site safety procedures, PTW, LOTO, HSE, and PPE requirements.
Maintain records of calibration, maintenance, inspection, and repair activities.
Qualification Required
Diploma in Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control Engineering preferred.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a petroleum refinery, petrochemical plant, hydrocarbon processing plant, fertilizer plant, or similar process industry.
Candidates with ITI in Instrumentation / Instrument Mechanic and minimum 5 years of relevant experience in refinery, petrochemical, fertilizer, hydrocarbon, or process plant installations may also be considered.
Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in instrument maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and shutdown/turnaround activities.
Candidates with experience in oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, fertilizer, chemical, or process plants are preferred.
