Pre-Operative Responsibilities (Before Surgery)
Sterilizing equipment: Cleaning and sterilizing all surgical instruments using autoclave machines.

Anesthesia assistance: Supporting the anesthesiologist by providing required medications, IV fluids, or blood components.
Operating technical machinery: Handling complex theater apparatus like C-ARM machines, monitors, and diagnostic equipment during live surgery.
Maintaining sterile fields: Constantly observing the room to prevent contamination and enforce strict infection control
Post-Operative Responsibilities (After Surgery)
Patient transfer: Helping shift the patient safely from the operating table back to a recovery room or ICU stretcher.
Disinfecting the theatre: Fumigating and thoroughly cleaning the OT room alongside housekeeping staff.
Disposing of waste: Handling biohazardous waste and discarded materials according to hospital safety policies.
