SUMMARY

NETSPACE INFOSOLUTIONS PVT. LTD. consists of one company – IT infrastructure Solutions, NETSAPCE consult and supply right products to end user with valued added solutions. We are looking for a Presales Engineer – Network Passive to design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Structured Cabling Technician to lead and participate in the installation and maintenance of structured cabling systems for our clients. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience in cabling infrastructure to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our clients' communication networks.

JOB DESCRIPTION

v Installation and Maintenance: Lead the installation, termination, and testing of copper and fiber cabling systems, including cable pulling, termination, and labeling.

v Cabling Infrastructure Design: Collaborate with clients and project managers to design structured cabling systems that meet industry standards and client requirements.

v Team Leadership: Provide guidance and training to junior cabling technicians, ensuring work is completed according to best practices and within project timelines.

v Testing and Certification: Conduct thorough testing and certification of cabling installations to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

v Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve cabling issues, including identifying and fixing cable faults, signal degradation, and connectivity problems.

v Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cabling installations, labeling, test results, and as-built documentation.

v Quality Assurance: Implement and uphold quality control processes to deliver reliable and error-free cabling solutions.

v Project Management: Assist in project planning, including estimating materials and labor requirements, and track project progress to meet deadlines.

v Health and Safety: Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

v High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or trade school education is a plus.

v 5+ years of hands-on experience in structured cabling installation, termination, and maintenance.

v Strong knowledge of structured cabling standards (e.g., ANSI/TIA-568, ISO/IEC 11801) and best practices.

v Proficiency in using cabling and network testing equipment (e.g., cable testers, OTDR, fiber optic splicing tools).

v Industry certifications such as BICSI RCDD, BICSI Technician, or CompTIA Network+ are preferred.

v Leadership and team collaboration skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior technicians.

v Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

v Strong organizational and documentation skills.

v Familiarity with relevant software tools for cabling design and documentation.

v Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client sites as needed.
