Technician

MSD Engineering – The Fire Wala is looking for a skilled and experienced Welder/Fitter to join our Project Execution – Fire Safety Systems team. The candidate will be responsible for the installation and execution of Fire Hydrant and Sprinkler Pipeline Systems at various project sites.

The role involves pipe cutting, welding, fitting, fabrication, grooving, threading, clamp fitting and pipeline alignment as per approved drawings and site requirements. The candidate will also handle pressure testing, leakage checking, pipeline inspection and support during final commissioning of fire fighting systems.

The candidate should have practical knowledge of fire fighting piping work, be comfortable working at project sites, and be able to coordinate effectively with Site Supervisors and other team members. Proper use of tools, PPE and safety equipment is mandatory. The candidate must ensure quality workmanship, follow safety procedures and complete assigned work within the required timeline.

Key Requirements:

• 2–3 years of experience in Fire Fighting Piping / Hydrant / Sprinkler Systems

• ITI / Non-ITI Welder/Fitter background preferred

• Knowledge of pipe welding, fitting, fabrication and installation

• Ability to understand basic piping drawings/layouts

• Practical knowledge of pressure and leakage testing

• Willingness to work at project sites and at height

• Good teamwork, discipline and safety awareness

Salary: ₹14,000 – ₹20,000/month + Site Allowance/Incentives
Location: Jagdalpur / Raipur / Project Sites as assigned
Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM + OT as applicable

• It is a Full Time Technician job for candidates with 6 months - 2 years of experience.
