About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and technically oriented candidates to join the Electric Vehicle Operations team of a leading electric bus manufacturer. The role involves supporting day-to-day EV operations, vehicle performance monitoring, troubleshooting, service coordination and ensuring smooth and efficient operation of electric buses.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and support the day-to-day operation of electric buses.
Coordinate with vehicle operators, service teams and maintenance personnel to ensure smooth vehicle operations.
Monitor vehicle performance, battery status, charging, range and energy consumption.
Identify and report vehicle-related technical issues and coordinate with the technical/service team for resolution.
Support troubleshooting of electrical, electronic and mechanical issues in electric buses.
Monitor charging operations and ensure proper charging procedures are followed.
Maintain records of vehicle performance, breakdowns, charging and maintenance activities.
Analyse operational data and identify recurring issues or performance deviations.
Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
Coordinate with workshop/service teams for timely closure of vehicle complaints.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and standard operating practices.
Prepare daily/weekly operational reports and maintain relevant documentation.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve vehicle availability, reliability and operational efficiency.
Desired Skills
Basic knowledge of Electric Vehicles (EVs) and EV systems.
Understanding of batteries, electric motors, controllers and charging systems will be an advantage.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Office / Excel.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced automotive/EV environment.
Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends, based on operational requirements.
Eligibility
Freshers: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech candidates with an interest in Electric Vehicles and the automotive industry are encouraged to apply.
Experienced Candidates: Candidates with experience in Auto Ancillary operations, automotive service, electric vehicles, fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, or related fields will be preferred.
