JOB TITLE: Service technician

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial kitchen equipment. The technician will ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely at client locations such as hotels, restaurants, cloud kitchens, hospitals, and industrial kitchens.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, test, and commission commercial kitchen equipment at customer sites
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of kitchen equipment
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and gas-related faults
Repair equipment such as ovens, ranges, fryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, steamers, and exhaust systems
Handle service calls and provide on-site technical support
Maintain service reports, job cards, and spare parts usage records
Coordinate with service coordinators and spare parts team
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company SOPs
Educate customers on proper equipment usage and basic maintenance
Achieve service turnaround time (TAT) and customer satisfaction targets
Equipment Knowledge (Preferred):
Commercial gas ranges & burners
Combi ovens, convection ovens
Refrigeration units (chillers, freezers)
Dishwashers and food preparation equipment
Exhaust hoods and ducting systems
Skills & Competencies:
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge
Understanding of gas systems and safety norms
Good communication and customer-handling skills
Ability to work independently and travel to client sites
Time management and reporting skills
Qualifications:
ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration, or related field
Valid driving license preferred
