Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled CCTV Technician responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV surveillance systems. The candidate should have hands-on experience with cameras, DVR/NVR systems, cabling, and networking basics.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras (Analog, IP, PTZ).

• Perform site surveys and plan camera placement.

• Run and terminate cables (LAN, Coaxial, Power).

• Configure DVR/NVR, storage, and remote viewing.

• Troubleshoot camera, network, and power issues.

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine system checks.

• Ensure proper documentation and reporting.

• Coordinate with clients and project supervisors.

• Follow safety standards and company SOPs.

Technical Skills Required

• Knowledge of CCTV systems (Analog & IP).

• Experience with DVR, NVR, and networking basics.

• Understanding of LAN, IP addressing, and PoE switches.

• Ability to read wiring diagrams and layout plans.

• Basic knowledge of access control and video intercoms (preferred).

Soft Skills

• Good communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and in teams.

• Problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset.

• Willingness to work on field sites and flexible hours.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial CCTV projects.

• Knowledge of brands like Hikvision, CP Plus, Dahua, etc.

• Valid driving license (added advantage).

• It is a Full Time Technician job for candidates with 1 - 5 years of experience.
