Technician

To perform accurate and efficient inspection, diagnosis, servicing, repair and maintenance of MAHINDRA EV FOUR -wheelers, ensuring high-quality workmanship, minimum repeat repairs, timely delivery and maximum customer satisfaction.

Position: Four -Wheeler Technician Department: Service / Workshop Industry: Automobile. Reporting To: Service Advisor / Workshop Manager / Service Manager Experience: 1–5 Years Qualification: ITI – four-Wheeler / Motor Vehicle / Automobile/electrical Trade preferred

Key Responsibilities

· Inspect vehicles received for service, repair and maintenance.

· Understand and diagnose customer complaints accurately.

· Conduct systematic inspection of engine, transmission, electrical and mechanical systems.

· Identify the root cause of vehicle problems using appropriate diagnostic methods and tools.

· Conduct road tests whenever required for proper diagnosis and verification.

· Report additional repair requirements to the Service Advisor.

· Perform scheduled periodic maintenance as per MAHINDRA service standards and recommended schedules.

· Perform electrical and electronic system diagnosis and repairs.

· Repair and replace defective components as required.

· Perform oil change, filter replacement, brake adjustment, chain adjustment and other routine maintenance.

· Carry out battery, charging and starting-system checks.

· Ensure proper fitment and functioning of replaced parts.

Required Skills

· Good knowledge of four-wheeler mechanical systems.

· Knowledge of engine, clutch, transmission and braking systems.

· Basic-to-good knowledge of automobile electrical systems.

· Ability to diagnose technical problems.

· Ability to use workshop tools and diagnostic equipment.

· Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to read and follow technical instructions.

· Good teamwork and communication skills.

· Customer-oriented approach.

· Willingness to learn new technology.

Qualification & Experience

Minimum Qualification:

· ITI – Four-Wheeler/Electrical / Motor Vehicle / Automobile trade preferred.

· Diploma in Automobile Engineering will be an added advantage.

• It is a Full Time Technician job for candidates with 1 - 3 years of experience.
