Job Description

Experience in design of Large scale Grid connectedPV plants, OFF Grid PV plants• Preparation of solar Plant Layout SLD and DesignBasis report.◦ Preparation of BOQ and BOQ optimization for bothpreliminary & detailed engineering◦ Generation analysis, shading analysis & projectdesign using PVSYST soffware.◦ Technical knowledge on yield estimation,performance of plant, Solar modules & inverters.Sting monitoring Box, solar system sizing. batterysizing, earthing &lightning protection of solarr field.Knowledge of layouts & schemes/SLD.. Preparation of budgetary proposals & Tendering jobs• Preparation of technical specification as per IS/IECStandards & Vendor review for BOS Componentsbased on project requirements.. Submission of design document and drawings toclient for approval. Preparing Document Control Ir IndexDCI) forDocument Tracking• Coordination with Site Team and Client to meet therequirements of design and drawings. Good knowledge in other disciplines like Civil/mechanical /Instrumentation related requirementsto successful carry interdisciplinary checks. Experience in PV plant Layout design, Cable sizing,Voltage drop calculation. Good Knowldge in Earthing and Lightningcalculation/layouts.. Shall possess customer/consultant handling relatedto technical clarifications.The Design Engineer (Electrical DC) is required to have anoverall knowledge of equipment layouts and necessarycalculations. The Design Engineer (Electrical DC) shouldalso have detailed knowledge of Solar PV Power Plants.She / he should have the understanding of engineeringactivities overing Generation Estimate, Overall plantLayout. DC SLD, Solar Mocule selection, Inverter Sizing.SMB. Earthing Layouts, Cable Sizing Calculations of SolarPV Power Plants. 'The Design Lead (Electrical DC)isequired to have knowledge on National and InternationalCodes and Standards. The Design L(Electrical DC) isrequired to understand and interprest the contractualtechnical requirements and f facilitate the Project Teams asFand when required. In addition. the Design Engineer(Electrical DC) should also have an overall understanding ofthe inter-disciplinary (Civil & Structural, Mechanical andInstrumentation) design aspects of electrical equipment
