Job Description: Field Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Engineer to join our team. The Field Engineer will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer service across assigned regions. This role involves frequent travel, direct client interaction, and ensuring the highest standards of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Commissioning
Assist in Installation, configuration, and commissioning equipment, systems, or solutions at client sites.
Ensure proper calibration and testing before handover.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
Escalate complex problems to higher-level support when required.
Customer Support
Act as the first point of contact for clients during field visits.
Provide training and guidance to customers on system usage.
Maintain professional communication and ensure customer satisfaction.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of site activities, service reports, and client feedback.
Prepare and submit necessary service reports and checklists, duly acknowledged by the customer.
Update system logs, service history, and escalate recurring issues.
Collaboration & Compliance
Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, sales, and support) for seamless service delivery.
Follow all safety protocols and compliance requirements during field operations.
Learning & Development
Attend trainings as and when nominated.
Continuously enhance technical knowledge and develop expertise to grow into senior roles.
Work Flexibility
Be available to work during weekends and extended hours when required; compensatory off will be provided as per company policy.
Qualifications & Skills : for fresh candidates
Candidates Passed out 2024,2025 from ECE & Mechanical Departments.
For Mechanical Students expertise in Autocad is Mandatory.
Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
Willingness to travel extensively and work in diverse environments.
· Mechanical People look after – Fire Hydrants, Sprinklers, NOVAC(Gas suppression)
· ELV Electronics People look after – CCTV, Access control, fire alarms, public address, VESDA(very early stage detection system),BMS (Building management system).
