As a solar panel technician, you will be responsible for installing and servicing solar panels on buildings and land to ensure they efficiently convert solar power into renewable energy. Most of your work as a solar panel Installer will be outdoors and at height.
The purpose of a Solar Panel Technician is to install, maintain and repair solar energy systems for residential, commercial and industrial clients. They use their technical knowledge to analyze the energy needs of their client in order to design, develop and implement the best solar energy system.
Solar Engineers also oversee the installation, testing and monitoring of solar energy systems and provide advice on their operation and maintenance.
