Technician

Job Summary:

The Installation Technician will be responsible for assembling, installing, and fitting modular and customized furniture at client sites. The role involves understanding layout drawings, coordinating with the production and dispatch teams, ensuring accurate installation, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install modular furniture such as workstations, wardrobes, tables, cabinets, and partitions at client locations.

• Read and interpret layout drawings, site plans, and technical diagrams for accurate installation.

• Conduct site measurements and ensure correct alignment and fitting of furniture.

• Coordinate with production, dispatch, and site supervisors to ensure timely delivery and installation.

• Perform finishing work such as edge trimming, leveling, and fixing hardware components.

• Use appropriate hand tools, power tools, and digital measuring devices safely and effectively.

• Ensure all installations meet company quality and safety standards.

• Handle minor on-site adjustments, repairs, or rework as needed.

• Maintain installation tools, report damage or maintenance requirements, and ensure availability for the next job.

• Communicate effectively with clients during installation and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Prepare daily installation reports, material usage logs, and completion updates.
