The Field Engineer is responsible for visiting client locations to install, configure, and maintain ISP networking equipment. The role involves installing wireless radio devices, routers, and related equipment, including climbing communication towers when required.
Key Responsibilities
Visit customer locations for new internet installations and service support.
Install and configure wireless radio devices, routers, and networking equipment.
Climb communication towers or rooftops to mount and align radio devices and antennas.
Perform signal testing, alignment, and troubleshooting for wireless links.
Run and manage LAN cables and outdoor network cabling.
Diagnose and resolve internet connectivity issues at customer premises.
Coordinate with the NOC (Network Operations Center) for network configuration and troubleshooting.
Ensure proper documentation of installations and service visits.
Follow safety procedures while working at heights and during tower climbing.
