Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Install and mount CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, racks, monitors, and accessories.

• Execute structured cabling, termination, dressing, and labeling.

• Configure IP cameras, NVR/DVR, remote viewing, and mobile connectivity.

• Set up recording schedules, motion detection, storage, and backup.

• Integrate CCTV with networking infrastructure (switches, routers, Wi-Fi).

• Perform testing, commissioning, and quality checks.

• Troubleshoot faults in cameras, cabling, network, or power.

• Provide system demonstration and basic training to clients.

• Prepare installation reports and service documentation.

• Coordinate with project and service teams for timely completion.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of analog and IP CCTV systems.

• Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, LAN, PoE).

• Experience in DVR/NVR configuration and remote access setup.

• Cable routing, crimping, termination, and use of testing tools.

• Basic understanding of racks, patch panels, and power supplies.

• Ability to read layout drawings.

• Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
