Technician

· Operate, monitor, and maintain STP, ETP, and WTP systems to ensure continuous and efficient performance.

· Carry out routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance of pumps, blowers, motors, valves, filters, membranes, and pipelines.

· Monitor process parameters such as pH, TDS, BOD, COD, TSS, turbidity, flow rate, pressure, and DO.

· Ensure treated water quality meets CPCB / TNPCB / statutory norms and client specifications.

· Collect water samples and coordinate lab testing; analyze results and take corrective actions.

· Handle and dose chemicals (alum, chlorine, polymers, acids, alkalis, nutrients) safely as per SOP.

· Prepare and maintain daily operation logs, service reports, test records, and compliance documents.

· Coordinate with site operators and provide technical guidance and training.

· Attend emergency breakdowns and ensure minimum downtime.

· Coordinate with stores/vendors for spares procurement and replacement.

· Ensure compliance with EHS norms, safety practices, and proper use of PPE.

· Support commissioning, performance guarantee trials, and handover activities.

· Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities during inspections or audits.

· Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and energy efficiency.
