Designation: Solar Panel Technician

Department: Technical / Service

Job Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a skilled, responsible, and customer-focused Installation & Service Executive to handle the installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of solar systems, LED products, home appliances, and other electrical products at customer locations. The candidate should have good technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and a professional approach to customer service.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Visit customer locations for installation, servicing, maintenance, and technical support.

- Install and commission solar systems, LED products, home appliances, and electrical equipment as per company guidelines.

- Ensure proper wiring, connections, mounting, testing, and safe operation of installed products.

- Conduct product testing after installation and ensure everything is functioning properly.

- Diagnose technical issues and perform necessary troubleshooting and repairs.

- Attend customer complaints and service requests within the assigned timeline.

- Explain basic product operation, usage, safety precautions, and maintenance requirements to customers.

- Conduct preventive maintenance and routine service checks when required.

- Coordinate with the Sales and Customer Support teams regarding installation schedules and service requirements.

- Maintain proper records of installations, service visits, repairs, replacement parts, and customer complaints.

- Prepare service reports after completing installation or service work.

- Identify defective components and coordinate with the concerned team for replacement or further action.

- Ensure proper handling, transportation, and installation of tools, equipment, and products.

- Follow all electrical safety procedures and company technical standards.

- Maintain professional behaviour and ensure a positive customer experience.

- Provide timely updates to the reporting manager regarding installation and service activities.

Skills & Competencies

- Basic to good knowledge of electrical wiring and electrical systems.

- Knowledge of solar installation and basic solar system components.

- Ability to install and troubleshoot LED products and home appliances.

- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to read basic electrical diagrams and wiring layouts.

- Good understanding of electrical safety practices.

- Good customer-handling and communication skills.

- Ability to work at customer locations and travel within the assigned area.

- Physically fit and comfortable working in field conditions.

- Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious approach.

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

- Basic knowledge of mobile applications and digital reporting.
