Job Summary

The MMS Installer is responsible for the assembly and installation of Module Mounting Structures (MMS) for solar power projects. The role includes reading installation drawings, erecting structures, tightening fasteners, ensuring alignment, and maintaining quality and safety standards at site.

Key Responsibilities

- Installation and erection of solar Module Mounting Structures (MMS).

- Assembly of columns, rafters, purlins, bracings, and related structural components.

- Alignment and leveling of structures as per approved drawings.

- Tightening of nuts, bolts, and fasteners using appropriate tools.

- Loading, unloading, and handling of structural materials.

- Coordination with civil, electrical, and module installation teams.

- Compliance with project quality requirements and installation procedures.

- Maintaining housekeeping and safe working conditions at site.

- Reporting daily progress to the Site Supervisor.

- Identifying and reporting material shortages or site issues.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of solar MMS installation.

- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.

- Understanding of installation drawings and layouts.

- Experience in ground-mounted and rooftop solar projects preferred.

- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments.

- Knowledge of safety practices and PPE usage.

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma / 10th Pass / 12th Pass.

- Relevant solar project experience preferred.

Experience

- 1–5 years in solar MMS installation.

- Experience in utility-scale or rooftop solar projects will be an advantage.

Physical Requirements

- Fit to work in outdoor construction environments.

- Ability to lift and handle structural materials.

- Comfortable working at heights when required.

Salary Range

₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month (Based on experience and skills).
