Job Description – Solar Installer

Experience: 1–4Years

Industry: Solar EPC / Renewable Energy

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Responsibilities:

• Installation and mounting of solar panels on rooftops, tin sheds and ground-mounted structures.

• Complete installation of GI/MS solar mounting structures, including legs, rafters, purlins and fasteners.

• Panel alignment, placement, tilt angle and row spacing.

• DC and AC cable laying, routing, dressing and connections.

• MC4 connector fitting and crimping.

• Installation of ACDB, DCDB and solar inverters.

• Chemical earthing, equipment earthing and lightning arrester installation.

• Installation of cable trays, conduits and electrical accessories.

• Drilling, cutting, welding and structure fabrication.

• Reading and understanding solar installation layouts and drawings.

• Following site safety standards and completing installation within project timelines.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience in residential, commercial and industrial solar installation.

• Practical knowledge of solar structures, panel mounting, wiring and earthing.

• Ability to independently execute complete solar installation work.

• Knowledge of installation tools and safety equipment.
