Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and technically competent Solar Maintenance Executive to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of solar PV systems. The role involves carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, responding to customer service requests, and ensuring maximum system performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems.
Inspect and troubleshoot solar panels, inverters, ACDB/DCDB panels, cables, batteries (if applicable), and electrical components.
Monitor system performance and identify faults affecting energy generation.
Attend customer complaints and provide timely technical support.
Carry out routine cleaning, inspection, and testing of solar installations.
Coordinate with the O&M team for scheduled maintenance and emergency breakdowns.
Prepare service reports, maintenance checklists, and site visit documentation.
Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards and company SOPs.
Maintain records of service history, spare parts usage, and equipment performance.
Coordinate with vendors and OEMs for warranty claims and technical support.
Educate customers on proper system usage and basic maintenance practices.
Support the commissioning and handover of newly installed solar systems when required.
Required Qualifications
ITI / Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in solar maintenance, electrical maintenance, or field service.
Freshers with relevant technical qualifications and willingness to work in the field may also be considered.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of solar PV systems and electrical equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical and inverter-related issues.
Familiarity with testing tools such as multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester, and other electrical instruments.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and PPE usage.
Ability to work independently and travel to customer sites.
Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
