Job Description

Service Engineer (UPS, Inverter and Battery)

Location: puducherry , with field visits to client sites

Experience: 0-4 years & Fresher (ITI / Diploma / B.E. in Electrical or Electronics) or any degree

Responsibilities:

Install, commission, and test UPS systems, inverters, battery banks, and servo stabilizers at client sites.

Attend breakdown calls within the committed response time and fix faults on site.

Carry out preventive maintenance visits under AMC contracts, including battery health checks, load testing, and filter and fan cleaning.

Fill in a service report with photos for every visit and get customer sign-off.

Record serial numbers, spare usage, and battery replacement dates accurately.

Escalate complex faults to the senior engineer or the OEM support line.

Follow safety practices: lockout, earthing checks, and use of PPE.
