Service engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a Calibration Engineer to perform calibration of instruments as per NABL / ISO 17025 requirements. The candidate should be capable of handling on-site and in-house calibration activities with proper documentation and customer coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out calibration of instruments (Mechanical / Electrical / Thermal / Dimensional – as applicable)

• Perform on-site and laboratory calibration as per approved procedures

• Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 & NABL guidelines

• Prepare and review calibration reports and certificates

• Maintain calibration records, traceability, and equipment logs

• Coordinate with customers during site calibration activities

• Follow safety, quality, and company procedures at all times

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation

• Knowledge of calibration procedures and uncertainty calculation

• Familiarity with NABL documentation is preferred

Experience:

• 0–3 years experience in calibration field (Freshers can also apply)

Skills & Competencies:

• Basic understanding of calibration standards and traceability

• Good documentation and reporting skills

• Willingness to travel for site calibration

• Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, Email)

• Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred:

• Experience in NABL-accredited laboratory

• Valid driving license

Salary: As per industry standards
