Role Overview
We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our Hyderabad operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of our biomedical equipment, while also contributing to the growth of the service business through AMC/CMC contracts and repair jobs.
You will be responsible for the Installation of Laboratory equipment / Analytical Instruments (Biosafety cabinets, deep freezers, lab refrigerators, Incubators, Hot Air Ovens and other laboratory equipment that are being used in Research Labs/ Hospitals/Research Institutes/Lifesciences Labs).
Work Area: Installation, Servicing and tech support, maintenance and repair.
Pre-visit preparation establishes services by studying the system required by ordering the gathering component and spare parts, completing installations and performing the acceptance test.
Follow up with teams / Customers related to Service and maintenance.
Expertise with BSL III Labs service and maintenance, handling of AHU units, HVAC
You have to work on improving the performance of the machine, Troubleshooting of equipment/fault with VFD.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Maintenance: Install, troubleshoot, and repair laboratory equipment (Autoclaves, Biosafety Cabinets, Deep Freezers, etc.) with minimal visits.
Service Documentation: Prepare accurate service reports, IQ/OQ/PQ documentation (with support from factory and head office in Lucknow).
Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to resolve service issues, explain equipment functionality, and ensure client satisfaction.
Business Development: Generate service revenue through repairs, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts), and CMC (Comprehensive Maintenance Contracts).
Travel: Visit customer sites across the assigned region (primarily Hyderabad and nearby states).
Target-Oriented: Achieve service and business targets assigned for the territory.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Successful installation and repairs in minimum visits.
Coordination with Salespeople in the territory
Service revenue generated in the assigned territory.
Customer satisfaction and repeat business through AMC/CMC contracts.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of field experience in the installation and service of laboratory/biomedical equipment.
Proficiency in service documentation (basic IQ/OQ/PQ).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel extensively.
Ability to work independently with problem-solving skills.
