Job Description: Service Coordinator (HVAC)
Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Service Coordinator to manage our field service operations. You will be responsible for scheduling technicians, managing customer service requests, and ensuring seamless communication between our office and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Scheduling & Dispatching: Efficiently schedule and dispatch field technicians for preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and new installations.
Customer Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for service calls. Log customer complaints, provide estimated arrival times, and follow up post-service to ensure satisfaction.
Data Management (Excel): Maintain and update service logs, Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) trackers, and technician productivity reports using advanced Excel functions.
Inventory Coordination: Track spare parts requirements for specific jobs and coordinate with the warehouse to ensure technicians have the necessary materials before heading to a site.
Documentation: Review technician field reports, verify work hours, and prepare documentation for the billing department.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Graduate in any stream (Commerce or Science background preferred).
Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization) is mandatory.
Experience: 2–5 years of experience in service coordination.
Added Advantage: Previous experience in the Consumer Durables (AC, Refrigeration, Washing Machines) or HVAC industry.
Soft Skills: Strong multitasking abilities, calm under pressure, and excellent verbal communication in both English and the local language
