We are looking for a highly skilled PCB Repair Engineer to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair printed circuit boards used in various electronic systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with component-level repairs, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of electronic circuits and testing tools.
Diagnose and troubleshoot faults on PCBs down to the component level.
Perform repair, rework, and replacement of SMD and through-hole components using soldering stations, rework equipment, and microscopes.
Conduct functional testing, quality checks, and validation of repaired boards.
Interpret circuit diagrams, schematics, and board layouts to identify issues.
Use test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and signal generators.
Maintain accurate repair logs, reports, and documentation.
Identify recurring faults and provide feedback to improve product design or manufacturing processes.
Ensure compliance with ESD protection standards and safety procedures.
Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex electronic problems.
Diploma or ITI in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in PCB repair, electronic troubleshooting, or component-level diagnostics.
Strong soldering and rework skills for SMD and dip components.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents.
Good understanding of analog and digital electronics.
Experience with high-density or multilayer PCBs.
Ability to use advanced tools such as hot air stations, and automated test equipment.
