We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Engineer (Medical Devices) to install, maintain, and troubleshoot medical equipment at hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate should have a solid technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to ensure optimal equipment performance and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Commissioning: Install and calibrate medical devices (such as Monitors, ECG, Syringe pump,etc) at client sites as per manufacturer specifications.
Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure timely resolution to minimize downtime.
Technical Support: Provide on-site and remote support to clients; address operational issues and user concerns effectively.
Training: Train end-users (doctors, nurses, technicians) on proper usage and basic troubleshooting of equipment.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate service reports, logs, and equipment history; update CRM/service management tools.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all service activities comply with industry standards, company policies, and healthcare safety regulations.
Spare Parts Management: Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with the supply team for part requisitions.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma/ITI/Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field.
3-5 years of field service experience in the medical device industry preferred.
Familiarity with critical care equipment is must.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills. Ability to work independently.
Willingness to travel across assigned region.
