Job Description – Service Advisor

Department: Service – General Service (GS)
Designation: Service Advisor
Location: Navi Mumbai
Experience: 2–4 years preferred in automobile service

Job Purpose

To provide excellent customer service by understanding vehicle concerns, coordinating servicing and repairs, and ensuring timely vehicle delivery with high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and understand their vehicle service requirements.

• Conduct preliminary vehicle inspections and record customer complaints accurately.

• Prepare job cards and explain recommended services, repair estimates, and delivery timelines.

• Coordinate with technicians, the spare parts department, and the workshop team.

• Monitor vehicle servicing and repair progress to ensure timely delivery.

• Keep customers informed about vehicle status, additional repairs, and service updates.

• Explain invoices and repair work completed at the time of vehicle delivery.

• Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints professionally.

• Ensure proper documentation and follow dealership service processes.

• Achieve customer satisfaction, service quality, and productivity targets.

Required Skills

• Good communication and customer-handling skills.

• Basic technical knowledge of automobiles and vehicle servicing.

• Strong coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving abilities.

• Basic computer knowledge and documentation skills.

• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple customer requests.

Qualification

• Diploma or Degree in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering preferred.

• Relevant experience in an automobile dealership or service centre will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience as a Service Advisor in General Service (GS).

• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, service schedules, job cards, and workshop operations.

• Hyundai dealership experience will be preferred.
