Job Title: Service Advisor - General Service

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. The
ideal candidate will ensure smooth communication between customers and the service
department, providing excellent service support and ensuring timely and quality vehicle
maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement the 6-Step Customer Care Process effectively using CTDMS.
Listen attentively to customer needs and prepare detailed Repair Orders, highlighting key
concerns with the use of Diagnostic Charts.
Calculate and communicate accurate delivery times to customers.
Promote the Service Appointment system to optimize facility and manpower utilization.
Ensure vehicle protection during servicing by using seat covers, floor mats, and other
materials.
Provide clear and detailed cost estimates and work explanations to customers.
Monitor service progress and keep customers updated on any changes in cost or
completion times.
Prepare precise, itemized invoices and compare them with initial estimates.
Actively promote the benefits and services of the dealership’s service and parts
departments.
Explain and discuss appropriate methods for post-service follow-up with customers.
Address and resolve customer complaints promptly, implementing preventive actions to
reduce recurrence.
Ensure vehicles are clean and ready on time, with all promised work completed to quality
standards.
Use customer education tools such as “Key to Peace of Mind” and Maintenance Guides
for effective communication.
Monitor job progress and completion times in coordination with SMB and JPCB.
Prepare Body & Paint repair estimations, negotiate with surveyors, and conduct final
surveys for body and paint jobs.
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of experience in automobile service or dealership environment.
Diploma or B.Tech in Automobile or Mechanical Engineerin
