Job Title: Service Advisor
We are looking for a Service Advisor to join one of the various automobile dealerships that have requirements, to assist customers with vehicle service needs, coordinate repairs, and ensure excellent service experiences. The role involves monitoring service progress, diagnosing customer-reported issues, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring high-quality vehicle maintenance. The position offers a salary of 25000-32000 with growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers, understand their vehicle concerns, and accurately record repair requests.
Coordinate with technicians to diagnose issues and recommend suitable repairs or maintenance.
Prepare cost estimates, explain service details, and obtain customer approval.
Monitor repair progress and ensure timely completion of work.
Inspect completed jobs and ensure customer satisfaction before delivery.
Write detailed service reports and maintain repair order documentation.
Source parts, liaise with suppliers, and verify parts availability and pricing.
Stay updated on new vehicle models, technical service bulletins, and warranty procedures.
Follow dealership and manufacturer safety and quality standards.
Handle customer feedback and provide proactive solutions to enhance service quality.
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is 1-2 years experience in the automobile service industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Technical understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures.
Ability to explain complex issues clearly and provide transparent cost estimates.
Proficiency in MS Office and dealership management systems is an advantage.
Must adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
