Job Summary
A Service Advisor acts as the primary point of contact between customers and the service workshop. They understand customer concerns, prepare job cards, coordinate with technicians, provide repair estimates, and ensure timely vehicle delivery while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers and understand vehicle service or repair requirements.
Inspect vehicles and document customer complaints accurately.
Create and maintain job cards/work orders.
Explain service recommendations, repairs, and costs to customers.
Coordinate with technicians and workshop staff for timely completion of work.
Obtain customer approval for additional repairs or replacement parts.
Update customers on service progress and expected delivery timelines.
Ensure quality checks are completed before vehicle delivery.
Prepare invoices and explain service charges.
Handle customer queries, complaints, and follow-ups.
Promote value-added services, accessories, and maintenance packages.
Maintain customer records and service history.
